Dr Sami Butt has spent many years following graduation honing and improving his clinical skills. He has undertaken a number of clinical courses such as the prestigious Chris Orr restorative year long course. He has been privileged to be one of the youngest graduates at the time. 

He completed his vocational training in London and moved to the S3 Dental Haywards Heath location where he undertook the serious task of modernising the NHS services provided in the Haywards Heath clinic. 

He was given the important responsibility of educational supervisor by the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery - which later merged with the London Deanery and has been responsible for training new dental graduates on how to work within the NHS and treat patients in general practice. 

He has a keen interest in a number of fields in dentistry, and went back into post graduate training and completed a year long Orthodontics certificate. This allowed him to enhance his clinical knowledge in the field of orthodontics and apply this to the number of clinical orthodontic treatments he provided. 

He has undertaken further clinical training, and also completed post graduate training in Periodontal diseases. He feels very strongly about ensuring his patients are aware of all clinical problems, and his ability to diagnose these conditions is imperative. 

His clinical skill set covers a broad range of treatments, such as implant restorations to full mouth rehabilitation cases. 

Sami believes in using the latest technology and materials to deliver his dentistry, and is one of 300 dentists worldwide to have tested the soon to be released Smile Design software of Ivoclar Vivadent - one of the worlds largest dental manufacturers. His provides routine dental work using a HD digital camera such as the Duerr Vistacam XD, the Trios Intra Oral scanner and the Sirona Cerec Omnicam. With his combined approach to dental technology he is able to provide patients with precision fitting dentistry and is trained to make his own lab work. This allows his patients to have their dental treatments such as Crowns and Bridges fitted that day instead of having to wait weeks for other labs to make the clinical restorations. 

The scope of his dentistry is not just limited to orthodontics, periodontics (treatment of gum diseases) and general care, but he is also interested and trained to provide appliances that help treat migraines and muscular disorders which can be caused by grinding teeth. His knowledge in this field has allowed him to provide his patients with one of the most comprehensive assessments available. 

In 2019 he was privileged to be regarded as a key opinion leader for ClearCorrect. One of the worlds leading providers for professional Clear Aligners for removable orthodontics.

Outside of dentistry, he has a number of interests such as football - and is a passionate Liverpool supporter. He likes to keep up to date with digital technology, which can be evidenced by the sheer level of digital technology in place at the S3 Dental clinics. 

He provides Private and Denplan dental care to patients, and works at the Haywards Heath clinic during the week - apart from Wednesdays where he provides dental care at the S3 Dental Eltham clinic. 

DR CHARLES VIGGOR BDS

Dr Charles Viggor qualified from the London University of Dentistry and has spent a considerable amount of time in general practice.

A local resident of West Sussex for many years, Dr Viggor has looked after many of the residents of Haywards Heath and the surrounding area.

Dr Viggor has a keen interest in oral surgery and dental implants.

He provides dental care to NHS, Private and Denplan patients.

DR ATIF BHATTI BDS MFDS

Dr Bhatti joined S3 Dental Haywards Heath in 2007 and has developed a deep bond with his patients. He has had the pleasure of seeing his patients grow up and start their own families and enjoys the provision of general

Atif enjoys providing all aspects of general dentistry for his patients. He has a special interest in root canal dentistry (Endodontics) and provides advanced level care on referral. This enables him to complete complex cases referred to him from colleagues within the practice and practices in the surrounding areas.

He has also developed a keen interest and passion in orthodontics and minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. He believes in providing cosmetic treatment without the need for significant tooth preparation enabling him to improve smiles in a conservative manner.

In his free time Atif enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and sporting activities particularly cricket and squash.

DR ASSAD CHOUDHRY BDS MFDS RCSED

Dr Assad has been working with S3 Dental Haywards Heath for 10 years and has dedicated his clinical practice to general and family dentistry.

His keen interest in cosmetic and orthodontic dentistry has led him to pursue a number of postgraduate courses such as the year long cosmetic and restorative course with Dr Chris Orr - past president of the British Academy Of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr Assad Choudhry provides NHS, Private & Denplan care to his patients.

LUCY Duckham

DENTAL THERAPIST & HYGIENIST

Originally from the West Midlands, Lucy started her career at Birmingham Dental Hospital where she gained a good grounding of dentistry by working on all departments as a dental nurse. This inspired her to continue to learn and realised that she had a desire to be more hands-on by treating patients.

In 2013 Lucy graduated as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from The University of Sheffield. She loved gaining real life experience on outreach placements which allowed her to carry out a diverse range of treatments.

She then gained valuable experience by completing a vocational training year in Birmingham where she gained a certificate of excellence. Since then, Lucy has been living in Haywards Heath and worked in practices across Sussex.

Lucy has a passion for ensuring her patients feel comfortable, relaxed and is dedicated to helping patients improve their oral hygiene, tailoring advice and gentle treatment to the needs and tolerances of each patient she meets.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking long walks, going to the theatre and enjoys hobbies such as dancing and cooking. Having a special interest in nutrition, Lucy decided to undertake a part time degree in Nutritional Therapy and has completed two years so far.

DR Georgina Pickett

Georgina graduated from Birmingham University in 2013.

She has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry and has undertaken many courses to further her knowledge and skill set.

She is also a qualified Facial Aesthetics Practitioner and can provide Anti-Wrinkle Injections. 

Georgina provides Private and Denpan care at the practice.

Rebecca Wilkinson BSC (HONS)

Rebecca Wilkinson brings extensive healthcare experience as a previous registered nurse prior to becoming a dental therapist.

Her extensive knowledge in healthcare coupled with a very calming approach to treatments allows patients to feel at ease with her.
