ORTHODONTICS

S3 Dental has a wide range of orthodontic options available to patients, we provide private orthodontic treatment for adults and children to correct the alignment of their front teeth.

These orthodontic systems have slight differences but ultimately provide great looking results.

Invisalign or ClearCorrect are regarded as the Invisible or Clear brace system which involves a series of thin clear mouthguards called aligners. They are removable for eating and cleaning but if worn at all other times can provide stunning results.

Your dentist can discuss the option that is best for you and we offer great finance plans for patients making the braces as affordable as £2 per day.

How ClearCorrect Aligners Works

After a detailed consultation involving photos and an accurate digital scan of the mouth, we provide a 3D simulation of how we can move your teeth using aligner technology.

These near invisible removable braces work by moving teeth sequentially over a period of months through a series of aligners until the final result is achieved.

The flexible nature of aligner technology allows you to wear your aligners during the day, but remove them for eating and special events.

Aligner treatment does not need to be protracted taking on average 9 months and 99% of our cases are non extraction based.

The Benefits of Orthodontic Treatment

Orthodontic treatment provides a number of benefits beyond just the visible improvement in the smile.

Correctly aligned teeth are easier to clean. This has a number of positive benefits such as reduced dental decay and reduced chances of gum disease.

A healthier cleaner mouth provides less areas for food to get caught reducing food traps which can cause bad breath.

Improving the alignment of teeth also improves the bite and reduces the number of fractures of teeth and jaw problems.
